I think we should definitely make more effort to give of our own money instead of spending it on ourselves. It would be great if the government could stop taxing us to provide for the poor or needy and instead make a law that would require us to support non-profits that do the same thing more efficiently and with more enthusiasm. We need to bless others so we can prove to God we are capable of managing some. Then He can give us more to manage for Him! These are awesome concepts.
