Generous Giving just sent us a letter that they will be closing their Marketplace. They opened the Marketplace in 2002 to allow ministries to showcase their mission and for generous donors to find a ministry, close to their heart, and donate. Well, they are closing that portion of their website and going into a more direct strategy of teaching people to be better stewards of their finances.

I think Generous Giving had a great idea when they opened the Marketplace. However, I suppose it wasn’t too profitable. I am glad to see they updated their site with some great flash based technology. They are going to do some great things.

On June 22nd, Generous Giving will be closing their Marketplace. Please update all links.
