As we learn in Proverbs 22:7, we are servants to the lender when we are in debt.

Without getting too political, realize that the failed companies that took money from the government under the “TARP program” are now being told to change policies to their “Bonuses”. This is another example that supports Proverbs 22:7. The reason the government and any lending institution can do that is because they are the master and can change the terms of the agreement for their slaves/borrowers at anytime.

As we are in debt, we must also realize that this can happen to us as consumers when we take on loans. The loan companies, being the master, can change terms of the agreement, like fees and interest rates, whenever they want. The reason they can do this is because they are the master and those in debt are slaves until they earn their freedom.

Today, commit to beating debt.

Earn your freedom away from debt.

Teach others to stay away from debt.

And together we, who are free, will be able to “dictate the terms” to the credit card and loan companies that enslaved so many over the years.
