This past Saturday, members of the BeatingDebt.org staff and board were able to get together in a rare face-to-face meeting at the North Hills 5k. Gaby (Treasurer), Kris (Secretary), Joe (Vice-President), and I attended the North Hills 5k to raise awareness of the growing addiction of debt in America.
Joe and I ran the 5k, and Gaby participated in the 1 mil fun walk. We had a great time in Raleigh participating in these events.
Ultimately, we ran these events for three reasons:
- To raise awareness of the growing addiction of debt in America.
- To raise awareness of our Team BDO.
- To raise money for BDO.
